We're living in the most-connected times we've ever seen. We can "like" in a split-second, text in a moment & follow in a flash... why are so many still lonely and without someone to turn to? Having meaningful, authentic relationship with Christ-followers is a priority, and it's found clearly in the Bible.

Community Groups are the safe place to grow deeper with Jesus and your church family, essential to building life-giving relationships! As much as we hope to catch a glimpse of community together on a Sunday morning, real community is perfected throughout the week.

Are you looking to dive deeper in community here at NEXT? Community Groups are one of the main ways to do that! Community Groups are small groups of 6-12 people who meet regularly to grow in Christ, through studying the Bible & praying, engaging in community, and telling others about Jesus!

While our groups are not publicly advertised. We've made it simple to get in one! All you have to do? Attend our 6-week Community Formation class... and bam! You're in a group.

How does it work? Upon registering, you will be placed in a group based on the preferences you've chosen (age, gender, life stage, availability, location, etc). Your group will spend its first 6 weeks meeting together with us (coaches & leaders) at NEXT and then will officially launch, and meet weekly, on its own after that.

Interested in starting a community group? Leadership does NOT have to be scary. Chances are you are already “leading” those around you in a non-CG setting! Are you a good listener? Do you have a heart to encourage, support and challenge others? Do you love God, love others and live intentionally, empowered by the Holy Spirit to exercise good character and judgement? Then, you are ready to jump in!

How does it work? The same way you find a group, is the same place we'll find a place for you to lead and start a group! Groups start in our Community Formation class (with leaders like you) and grow from there. If you're interested in leading, register and we'll get you trained & set up for successful leadership!

We believe that groups are meant to do life together, disciple one another and be on mission in a variety of ways, ultimately in community to reach the community! Our groups take place throughout the week in different areas around the church including Harleysville, Souderton, Lansdale, Collegeville, Norristown, Royersford, Limerick & more!

We offer many different group types including, but not limited to: 

• Multigenerational
• Spiritual development
• Activity & shared hobbies/interest groups
• Same age/life stage groups
• Specialized support

Every group is lead by a trained community group co-leaders and are overseen by a coach.

Seasons vary within our community groups (when they meet, some groups might run longer or shorter), but we'll help you find a schedule that fits you!

Community groups will typically change their rhythms in the summer, however, most groups in-season will meet at least 3 or 4 times a month. We'd love to have you join us!
