"It really surprised me. I went in thinking that it was going to be all about NEXT and the brand of church you get now-a-days. Honestly, I was looking for something wrong & what they do specifically to get "their" church ahead of all the others... I. was. wrong. The night just pointed back to Jesus & a model to do life together, on mission.
It was really about growing in your relationship with Jesus among a Bible-based, Holy Spirit empowered community dedicated to discipleship and reaching people. It's clear that the leadership and body of believers are prepared to live that out & actually walk alongside you to do the same.
I was most surprised I had the opportunity to ask questions and specifically talk to some of the elders and staff about the church and it's function... and they willingly answered!"
